Luciano
Dolcini nasce a Pesaro. Italia, nel 1952. Il suo rapporto con la fotografia inizia con la
frequentazione del laboratorio del fotografo pesarese Ammazzalorso, da cui impara a
stampare in bianco e nero. Successivamente ha avuto l'opportunità di
affinare la tecnica di camera oscura sotto la guida del fotografo Maurizio
Caselli. La sua sensibilità lo porta ad una rappresentazione
intimistica della realtà attraverso la creazione di un linguaggio che esprime tutta la
"poesia del quotidiano" e che ha come oggetto d'indagine varie culture e vari
paesi, dall'Europa al Marocco, dalla Turchia agli Stati Uniti. Un secondo filone
linguistico lo vede successivamente in contatto con artisti - scultori e pittori - ritratti nei
loro studi e nell'intimità con le loro opere in immagini di grande pregnanza espressiva.
La condivisione estetica e il sodalizio che stringe con alcuni di essi, da origine alla
sua ultima produzione fotografica, più creatività e fuori dagli schemi. Dal 2000 Luciano Dolcini ha affiancato alla attività di fotografo quella di curatore ed organizzatore di eventi culturali, mostre, convention, e di presentazioni.

Luciano Dolcini was born in Pesaro, Italy, in 1952. His relationship with
photography began by attending the studio of the photographer Ammazzalorso in Pesaro,
where he learned the technique of printing in black and white. He later had
the opportunity to improve his technique in the dark room under the guidance
of the photographer Maurizio Caselli. His sensibility leads him
to an intimate representation of reality through a language which expresses the
"poetry of eveyday life" and Europe to Marocco, from Turkey to Unites States of
America. A second course of expression has him later in contact with artists-sculptors,
painters, portraied in their studios and their intimacy with their works in images of
great expressive. Meaningfulness the smaring of the aesthetic vision and the fellowship he
reached with some of them... gives birth to his latest photographie production, more
creative and unconventional. Since 2000 Luciano Dolcini he has undertaken the activity of curator
of exhibitions, musical and cinematographic events, presentations and conventions, privileging cultural activities and looking after their promotion before and after the event.
